The headquarters of the aitp group of companies is located in the center of Chemnitz, right next to the city’s most famous landmark, the Karl Marx Monument. This location acts as a link to the Dresden branch and the offices in Munich, Aalen and Erfurt. The head office provides the basis for smooth business operations and is also the central location where corporate strategies are set and continuously developed.
Newly founded in 2019, aitp GmbH has been established as a general planner at the prestigious location at Brückenstraße 13 since 1 January 2020. The modern office over 7 floors, organized in the individual business units, is complemented by the management area and central administrative functions. The location’s proximity to the city center is particularly appreciated due to its excellent transport links and the advantages of a major city.
With over 80 employees, all aitp divisions are represented: civil engineering, structural design, infrastructure and mechanical & electrical design. Highly motivated architects, engineers and technicians plan together across all trades and all service phases. Our staff structure reflects what aitp is all about: years of complementary general planning experience, young, fresh ideas combined with state-of-the-art technical equipment and the latest planning methods.
The location plays a central role in training and promoting young talent. As a training location for draughtsmen and as a practical partner for students at the Glauchau and Riesa Cooperative State Universities and the International University, it offers an ideal platform for entering the world of general planning. In order to continue to successfully master the growing challenges and projects, the aim is to expand our team with motivated planners who want to contribute to the strengthening and further development of the company with their expertise and commitment.
The Dresden branch has been located directly on the Kaditzer Flutrinne near the Elbepark since 2020. The location at Washingtonstraße 16 benefits from optimal accessibility, also thanks to the nearby Dresden-Neustadt highway exit and the connection to the A4.
The Dresden location offers a generous 900 m² of office space in an office complex that has been completely refurbished, furnished and equipped with modern facilities. We realize demanding projects in industrial construction and offer you comprehensive architectural and engineering services in all service phases of the Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI): from building planning and structural design to building physics and structural fire protection.
The aim is to further expand the Dresden location in the coming years, with a particular focus on personnel growth. Our proximity to renowned universities, such as the Technical University of Dresden and the HTW Dresden, offers us excellent opportunities to work with talented working students and young talents in our core areas of architecture and structural design. Graduates from these specialist areas also complement our team with in-depth knowledge and new perspectives. As a dual partner of iU University, we also promote the link between theory and practice for both students and working students.
Our dedicated team of 36 employees, including architects, structural engineers, civil engineers and CAD designers, combines fresh ideas with many years of experience. With an average age of 42, we offer a balanced mix of young talent and experienced colleagues, supported by students and trainees.
Since 2021, aitp has been located in the north of Munich, in Walter-Gropius-Str. 17, resident. The location and naming of the street are a tribute to Walter Gropius, the important German architect and founder of the Bauhaus. The office is easily accessible from the A9 Munich-Schwabing highway and the U6 subway line (Alte Heide stop).
With an area of 300 m², our office offers modern and fully equipped space for creative solutions in industrial construction, particularly in the pharmaceutical and optical segments. The young and dynamic team – with an average age of around 36 – combines fresh perspectives with sound experience. The roof terrace with a view of the Alps invites you to take breaks together and offers space for team events or simply for your morning coffee.
We offer comprehensive architectural services, particularly in building planning, electrical planning and clean room design – in service phases 1-8 of the Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI). We work closely with our clients from the conceptualization stage through to detailed execution, and we push for tailor-made solutions with optimally coordinated project planning and scheduling.
Thanks to our location in Parkstadt Schwabing, we are easily accessible for our customers in Munich and the surrounding area. This enables us to respond quickly to the customer on site and to establish a successful working relationship. Our goals are to expand and further develop our location. In the short term, we are planning to expand our capacities in the areas of structural engineering, structural design, civil engineering, supply engineering and electrical planning in order to meet the growing requirements. In the long term, we are aiming to increase the office space and expand the site in order to create additional space for growth and innovative projects.
The office in Erfurt was opened in 2020 and focuses on civil and structural engineering. The proximity to existing important clients such as the Siemens generator plant and Deutsche Bahn projects was a decisive reason for choosing the location.
Integrated into the aitp GmbH network, the Erfurt site works closely with the other sites, particularly on general planning work. The aim in Erfurt is to expand the workforce and jointly design forward-looking construction projects. By expanding our expertise, we want to become more independent and even more flexible in mastering future challenges.
The Aalen location covers a strategically important region in Germany. The office creates optimal conditions for close cooperation and is chosen so that projects can be supported directly on site.
The office in Aalen, opening in September 2023, is located in the economic center of the city and offers optimal conditions for our work in general planning. The location was chosen due to its proximity to one of our most important customers, Carl Zeiss AG. From here, our planners and construction supervisors support various projects at the Carl Zeiss site in Oberkochen. The Aalen site is a central hub for innovative construction projects. Here, too, our aim is to strengthen the team in order to drive exciting projects forward.
