Civil Engineer Steel Construction (m/f/d) for our Structural Engineering division

Your responsibilities

  • Planning and calculation of steel structures:
    You will be responsible for the independent planning, structural analysis, and design implementation of steel construction projects in building construction and civil engineering. In doing so, you will take both economic and functional aspects into account.
  • Preparation of implementation and workshop plans:
    You will prepare detailed implementation and workshop plans for steel structures and ensure their quality.
  • Coordination with other departments:
    Working closely with architects, builders, and other specialist engineers, you will ensure integrated planning and smooth project execution.
  • Supporting construction work:
    You will assist the site management team in implementing the planned steel structures and monitor compliance with planning specifications and quality standards.

What you bring to the table

  • Completed degree in civil engineering with a focus on steel construction:
    Your sound education enables you to plan and implement complex steel construction projects. You are confident in applying current standards and design rules in steel construction.
  • Knowledge of specialist software:
    You are proficient in the use of structural analysis and CAD programs such as AutoCAD, SOFiSTiK, or specialist software such as Frilo, RFEM, RSTAB, etc., as well as the common MS Office programs. Experience in using Advance Steel and REVIT is desirable.
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills:
    You enjoy working in a team and communicate effectively with various project participants.
  • Initiative and sense of responsibility:
    You are characterized by an independent way of working and a high degree of responsibility. In addition, you are willing to travel throughout Germany to competently support projects on site.
